THE OPPORTUNITY
The Head of Commercialization, Market Analysis, is responsible for driving the identification, creation, and adoption of new products across Market Analysis. The specific focus will initially center on the identification of new products built off current data sets sourced from across all of TechInsights and the transformation of custom projects into beta-tested product offers. This role involves strategic planning, market opportunity assessment, coordination with various departments, and acting as the lead evangelist with Sales. The focus is on building organizational understanding, trust, and cooperation and translating broad vision and goals into actionable plans that are then seen through to successful product delivery and monetization.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Management and Leadership
- Identify New Products: Utilize current and future data sets across TechInsights to identify new product opportunities.
- Drive Transformation: Further the transformation of market analysis by turning Top Shelf Service projects into beta-tested product offers, ensuring they are market-ready and meet customer needs.
- Determine Market Opportunity: Define market opportunities with clearly identified target prospects and obtain Go/No Go decisions from Segment Leads and Senior Leadership Team.
- Mobilize: Lead the development of key product messages, value propositions, and use cases to support Segment product marketing.
- Promote: Act as the lead evangelist with the Sales team to educate on new product offerings.
- Message Creation: Craft value propositions, and hone messaging with a focus on persona specific use cases.
- Target Identification: Work with Segment leaders and the sales team to develop prospects and maintain and develop senior-level client relationships.
- Education: Train sales team on product coverage and value proposition.
- Playbook Development: Design and act as the primary customer stakeholder for developing Playbooks to deliver newly productized offers.
- Coordination: Work closely with the Head of End Market Analysis to ensure the capacity and capability for building and delivering new products.
- Delivery: Ensure that processes are in place to define and measure the necessary stakeholders and their contributions so that ongoing product delivery is maintained according to agreed-upon timing and plans.
- Manages a team of professionals and or managers.
- Implements functional plans, including business, production, and/or organizational priorities.
- Decision-making is guided by Function/District objectives.
- Impacts the business results of an area or sub-function by setting priorities, allocating resources, and developing policies and plans.
- Guided by function policies, resource requirements, budgets and business plan.
- Incorporates understanding of business objectives and strategies in recommending functional goals and operating plans.
- Manages multiple related teams (minimum 3 direct reports).
