TechInsights is looking for a motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our team for a 4-month co-op. In this role, you will support semiconductor product and process technology initiatives by collecting, organizing, and analyzing primary data from lab analyses, technical reports, and experimental results. You will work directly with a Senior Technical Fellow and contribute to data-driven insights that inform our research and product teams.

TechInsights is looking for a motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our team for a 4-month co-op. In this role, you will support semiconductor product and process technology initiatives by collecting, organizing, and analyzing primary data from lab analyses, technical reports, and experimental results. You will work directly with a Senior Technical Fellow and contribute to data-driven insights that inform our research and product teams.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collect, measure, and extract data from semiconductor analysis labs (e.g., SEM, TEM) and technical reports published in the TechInsights Platform.
- Organize and document data in structured formats, including Excel tables, graphs, and charts.
- Analyze and interpret experimental results to support data-driven insights.
- Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Assist in developing and applying data for product and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical staff to ensure accurate and actionable data documentation.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Current enrollment in a post secondary program in the fields on Data Analysis, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of semiconductor products, process technologies, or materials science is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with solid data visualization skills in Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately across multiple data sources.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret technical data and produce meaningful outputs.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Eagerness to take ownership of assigned tasks and grow through hands-on experience.
